Simple style on this antique Chinese Chest. The wood grain swirls show nicely in the brown finish. Mortise and tenon construction seen in the corners. Brass hardware. Interior has been sanded to release fresh camphor scent. Camphor wood was used to protect the contents from insects. The top shows a repaired split, but is structurally strong and sturdy.
